When Beatriz picks up her husband from the sanatorium, she's not sure to believe his psychiatrist. He claims that the man is completely cured. Her usually ungainly and aloof husband is suddenly friendly and accommodating. He even wants to go on holiday with her to the beach in Brazil. When their cat Donatello disappears, Beatriz begins to doubt her own sanity.
