Apparently I hadn't left a comment here yet.

This youth film is the prequel to Jurassic Park. It has an entertaining story and the acting performances aren't bad in themselves. However, it does lack some potential to become a true classic. But otherwise, it really is a film that guarantees a fun evening.

Undeserved average for a totally forgotten 80s movie that I didn't think was bad at all.

An adventure film with both a Disney and an Indy edge, in which a couple wants to free a baby dinosaur and his mother from the clutches of heartless scientists and soldiers. A few sad scenes, but all in all a rather moving film that was shot on location in Ivory Coast, which makes the film's exotic and adventurous character extra vivid. How much influence or inspiration this film had for Jurassic Park is still up for debate, but at least one scene makes me suspect that Spielberg saw this film. Baby certainly deserves a solid 3*...
