In the first 20 minutes I thought what kind of nonsense is this and I was about to turn off the movie which I luckily didn't, but after that (when Bart went to Joey) the movie really got going and I was entertained. What I liked about this movie was that it wasn't cliché at all (fortunately something original in this genre for a change) and that a lot of unexpected and fun things happened. The story was quite good and fun and there was also quite a bit of humor in it. For example, the reenactment of the legendary Clint Eastwood scene was great and also funny. And of course not to forget the dildo scene
Visually the film was also quite good and that certainly applies to the cast. I thought the two main actors David Anders (as Bart) and Chris Wylde (as Joey) were very good and fun. And Louise Griffiths (as Janet) was of course a sweetheart. You should take the fact that the film is titled Horror with a grain of salt because of course there is no horror in it like in a real horror film, there is a lot of action and sometimes quite hard (although with a comic undertone). The film lasts almost two hours, a bit on the long side and especially the ending (actually quite good) could have been a bit shorter. But all in all a surprisingly nice film that was easy to watch. This film actually entertained me just as much as the rock-solid "Zombieland" only that one was a bit better.

Nice try but not quite as well executed as I expected.
It sounds like fun, as said: Private Bart is shot dead in Iraq, buried in America, rises from his grave, rings the doorbell of his buddy who wonders what on earth he swallowed to see Bart alive, eventually his buddy also becomes a zombie after an accident and that's how they come up with the good idea to cut down all the scum in LA. Fun, fun, fun, but with a lot of flaws. That doesn't mean that The Revenant wasn't entertaining, because the dialogues and certain moments were really funny. Only the rest is so rushed and poorly worked out and I also expected a lot more action and over the top moments, but unfortunately that often gets stuck.
The ending was pretty bad though, send the American zombies to Iraq.
Just a trifle that is still entertaining despite its flaws.

Bad cast, annoying characters and failed humor; that's about it with this movie. There is one nice find but otherwise the movie is a failure.
