"Where Hell freezes over.."
When two people are found dead on Erebus, a government-established science station in Antarctica, Captain Sam Cage and his superior Major Callie Wilson must investigate. They soon learn that the station is in fact a cover for an illegal mining operation. The mine has to do with committed murders. Closing the mine is not without danger, however, as deadly gases escape. In a confrontation with Dr. Kurt Shilling, who turns out to be the killer, Sam is told that he is, in fact, responsible for the massacres because, according to Dr. Kurt Shilling, the son of Satan. To counter the power of Satan, six men must be sacrificed.

The next step was this *Sometimes they come... back for more*, for which I am primarily looking for the first part. Because let’s state upfront that this has little to do with Stephen King and the basics anymore. And within minutes it was actually quite clear that this was going to be too bad for words.
As already mentioned, it still relies partly on the name of King and his characters, but actually has nothing to do with that anymore. This takes place in the polar region and is somewhat reminiscent of The Thing with a crew under siege, but it falters from the very start. For we have no appealing cast, the story, the dialogue, and the acting performances are too sluggish for words, and then there are the typical stupid choices and risks of the characters.
If there is a positive point at all, it is the collection of beautiful women that has been rounded up, because Ford, Masterson, and O'Dell are not to be trifled with and are certainly worth looking at. But apart from that, this is an extremely sad spectacle.
