A Black Veil for Lisa is a decent thriller that is more of a crime story and actually has little to do with horror other than a few murders. The story is interesting to follow and is enhanced by the three main characters, namely police inspector John Mills, hitman Robert Hoffmann and femme fatale Luciana Paluzzi. The film tends towards a film noir with a lot of intrigue that includes obsession, trust and manipulation. 6/10
