Mees Kees langs de Lijn plot
When Mees Kees suddenly has to take care of his mother during the school football competition, Dreus replaces him as coach. Team 6B derails hopelessly and Tobias has to come up with something to get Mees Kees back. It's a good thing the class is so brimming with talent. They help Mees Kees with his mother and he is back on the line again during the football final.

You come to these types of films if you have younger brothers and Sinterklaas celebrations. A family outing 
I find it difficult to be very critical about this now, but in practice this film is again a reproduction of the previously made parts. The plot follows the same pattern again, which makes it really annoying at times. Along the Line contains a whole lot of déjá vu, and that quickly destroys a film that does not rely on its originality. Only the cast has undergone a major cleaning. New master, new class. Willem Voogd's replacement is a lot less fun, although he does his best. In addition, new, younger kids. I believe it all, I have long enjoyed the fact that Sanne Wallis de Vries still participated and provided some beautiful moments.
Not so bad that it is almost mandatory, but in terms of level it is not very high.

The least in the series, especially De Ridder, I think clearly less. While the previous Mees Kees was still disarming in a certain way - albeit a little too much, but okay - I find this new one completely colorless. The class is also less fun. I do think Wallis de Vries is better in her role, much less exaggerated and therefore more fun. Although that mother, with that voice, continues to steal the show every time. The story never fails to surprise and that is a shame, because in some ways this is quite a nice series. Sweet, cuddly and without any urge to act. Also nice sometimes. It's just not really interesting anywhere. 2.0*.

Fourth film in the series about Mees Kees revolves around a theme week about the future. Mees Kees [Leendert de Ridder, who easily takes over the role of Willem's guardian] has put together a time machine with which the students can show who and what they think they will be in 2037. The children are very enthusiastic, but headmaster Dreus [Sanne Wallis de Vries] is not happy about the mess in the classroom. Mees Kees should take an example from Master Hank [Jochen Otten], who prepares his group for a football tournament. After all, football is an activity par excellence that allows children to demonstrate and develop their talents. Although he knows a lot (!) about football, Mees Kees makes the best of it, with his mother [Raymonde de Kuyper] as Team 6B's biggest supporter. Light-hearted, pleasant youth film with good work by Jelle Stout as Tobias, who discovers his talent during the film. However, the story is very well-behaved and simplistic.
