The film follows Kevin Clash from his humble beginnings in Baltimore to his current success as the man behind Elmo, one of Sesame Street's most recognizable and beloved characters. Millions of children follow Elmo on TV every day, but when Kevin walks down the street, he is not recognized. In addition to his role as Elmo, Kevin is arguably the most creative force behind Sesame Street today. He produces, directs and travels all over the world to train other puppeteers.
