The Parole Officer plot
"Fighting crime the only way he knows how. Badly."
Simon Garden is a probation officer who is not very successful. After several years of doing this work, only three of his clients have not gone back to jail. He is transferred to Manchester where he soon gets into trouble. A drug dealer kills someone in front of Garden and distorts the facts so that Garden appears guilty. The only proof of his innocence is a video tape with everything on it, but the dealer has conveniently stored it. Only Simon's three 'positive' clients can help him now...
