"They're too wild for one world!"
Lester and Orville accidentally launch a rocket destined for Mars. Instead, it lands on Mardi Gras, near New Orleans. Then they are forced to fly to Venus by the bank robbers Mugsy and Harry, where they find a population of exclusively females; men are banned.

Slightly better than its predecessor Abbott and Costello Meet Captain Kidd. The cast includes participants in the Miss Universe competition, a very young Harry Shearer and former Miss Sweden of 1950, Anita Ekberg. The film reunites Abbott and Costello with Robert Paige after their collaboration in Pardon My Sarong. Shortly after the film's release, Abbott and Costello appeared on 1950's "The Colgate Comedy Hour" and did a skit in which they attended the film's premiere.
The title of the film is a bit misleading, because the duo never reached Mars. Nevertheless, this Abbott and Costello film still contains quite entertaining humor for fans.
