Bella is a self-proclaimed actress, but has barely achieved anything. She is approaching forty, is constantly broke and nothing is going the way she would like it to. One day she decides to creatively adjust her resume. She poses as a skilled acrobat and is soon approached for a part. Ingmar Bergman is looking for a nimble actress who can take on a role that is full of serious acrobatics. Bella gets the part of her life, but her little lie will have big consequences.
