“My name would become legend...”
Nice. Puss in Boots is a successful adventure film, and especially the interplay between Puss, Kitty Softpaws and Humpty Dumpty is very entertaining. Banderas, Hayek and Galifianakis manage to convey an incredible amount of pleasure to the viewer with their voices alone. And the animation looks nice too. The far-fetched story about golden eggs is ridiculous of course, but the actors, the animation and the Spanish setting make up for it.

Better than expected, but it is actually mainly band work this. A spin-off that should make money. Puss in Boots is a cross between Zorro and Shrek's fairytale world. With the necessary winks to well-known films and fairy tales, one joke works better than the other. In this way the whole quietly flows by, in the meantime you could have easily ironed or something. But there are animated films that get on your nerves harder.
