"NO SOUL IS SAFE"
When she was twelve, Olivia was attending a sleepover party. That night she sang a song that was invented by a certain Milo. When singing this song, a dangerous demon called "The Crooked Man" is summoned. As a result, one of her friends was mysteriously killed. Olivia was blamed. It is already six years later and Olivia returns to her hometown. When some strange deaths occur, Olivia suspects the demon is back.

The young cast members do their utmost and the threat looks unusual enough thanks to the glitchy design, but director Jesse Holland brings little new under the sun. In particular, the tension build-up does not get off the ground and the story takes all kinds of absurd turns that turn out badly. The addition of Michael Jai White is also a bigger mystery than the demon, as half the time he just stares from a distance and interferes very little with the proceedings. It is a hastily added appearance to fill the poster with a well-known name, but White will lose it in no time with this kind of trinket. The rest of the film consists of a lot of drama and few horror moments that do not cause much fear. I got through this with reasonable difficulty, so a higher grade is not possible.
