"The Musical Love Story of Pan-America!"
American Nicky Henderson (Virginia Bruce), author of the unflattering book “Why Marry a Latin?” for the South American man, travels to Rio de Janeiro to do two weeks of research for her new book on Brazil. She meets Miguel Soares (Tito Guízar), the composer of the famous hit “Brazil”. When Miguel learns that Nicky is the author of the book in question, he wants to teach her a lesson by first making her fall in love with him and then breaking her heart...
