"Shoot First...Or Run Fast!"
Doctor Frank Harlow helps a man beaten up by two mobsters. He reports both perpetrators to the police. When the victim still dies, the charge becomes murder. Harlow then flees to remote woods and finds work as a clerk in a sportswear store, under the name Roger Condon. Things get complicated for Harlow when he falls in love with local Laurie Maitland and the killers learn the location of his hideout.
