At first glance, Cody Banks seems like a normal, slightly goofy, teenager. But he really is a CIA agent who is part of a special branch of teenage operatives. He gets help from supervisor, Ronica Miles and Cody also has the latest gadgets. His first mission is to befriend Natalie Connors, the daughter of an inventor who unknowingly aids the villain in this story. But unfortunately, Cody absolutely does not get along with girls. Can he save the world and even get the girl?

I didn't really know what to expect from this, so I took a chance. And I thought it was a nice look away film, I definitely see a kind of James Bond with a 'youth atmosphere' in it. I've rarely seen Frankie Muniz on TV and actually never in a movie, but I thought he did a good job, although in my opinion he could do a little better and he sometimes came across as a bit unbelievable. Hilary Duff also did her part nicely, but I especially thought Connor Winddows was very funny to watch. The scenes on the last one are nicely made but there are also some scenes where it didn't interest me very much and where it really got a bit too over the top, but despite that I had a great time with this film, the ending was okay predicting but that didn't turn out wrong, compared to some vague ending scenes in a movie...

Entertaining.
Predictable in every way, of course, but oh so entertaining. Even had a laugh every now and then.
I've never liked Frankie Muniz, but with Hilary Duff and Angie Harmon in the supporting roles, you're in the right place anyway. Keith David also did a nice job in a suitable role for him.
by the way: I was shocked at the end when Arnold Vosloo showed up for the second coming..
