Dream House plot
"Once upon a time, there were two little girls who lived in a house."
Successful publisher Will Atenton quits his job in New York to move to a quaint New England town with his wife Libby and two daughters. But then they find out that a mother and her children have been murdered in their perfect home. The whole village believes that her husband, the only survivor, is the culprit. When Will investigates this tragedy, his only lead comes from Ann Paterson. She is a neighbor who was good friends with the family. Will and Ann work together to solve the disturbing mystery.

Not a bad movie! Nice plot twists and the question “What happened that night?” makes the movie exciting.

Slightly hazy film that becomes a bit tame at the end, when it becomes clear how the fork is in the stem. Sometimes a bit far-fetched and sometimes a bit slow. All this means that the film was not convincing and only managed to interest me moderately. The acting is okay (Craig looks more like Mads Mikkelsen with that haircut) and the atmosphere is also fine at times. Anyway, the location but also the music is fine. But that doesn't make it a good movie. 2.0*.
