Alfons Zitterbacke plot

Alfons, a cheerful, imaginative boy, dreams of the future, while he has his hands full solving everyday problems. The children mock him for his strange name and the father wants a tough boy with strong muscles. Alfons wants to get the friendship of his fellow students and the recognition of his father. His girlfriend Micki assists him with advice and assistance. In his dreams, however, Alfons is already an acclaimed athlete, or even a celebrated cosmonaut.
