The Man from Rainbow Valley plot
"ROMANCED OF THE RAW, ROUGH RANGE!"
Monte Hale is the creator of the popular comic about "Outlaw", the wild horse. Monte loves the real horse as much as thousands of fans of Outlaw's comic strip. Unscrupulous rodeo promoter Colonel Winthrop gets the idea to kidnap Outlaw and turn the horse into a show horse. Kay North, Winthrop's niece, makes Monte believe she wants to write an article about the horse. With her help, Winthrop's henchmen capture the horse. The young foal "Colt" and the mares are left unprotected, leaving the horses to be attacked by wild animals. Monte is furious when he finds out about the theft.
