The Headless Horseman plot
The town of Sleepy Hollow receives its new schoolmaster from New York, Mr. Ichabod Crane. Before he gets there, Crane has already heard about the local legend, the headless rider, who is looking for his head that he lost in battle. Crane doesn't really make friends with the locals, partly because of his teaching methods and partly because he's chasing the beautiful local heiress Katrina Van Tassel.

Difficult to get through.
Visually there is nothing left for me to enjoy, slap-stick humor and unserious acting. The biggest problem, however, is the attempts to compensate for the lack of speech. The lyrics are annoying and the music is sometimes reasonable, but their constant presence starts to irritate after a few minutes.
By the way, I haven't seen anything about the Headless Horseman. I can't do anything with this, yuck.

A film that uses the American legend to shape its content, but forgets that this is partly supposed to represent a horror scenario. The horror in this relatively short horror comedy is very limited and only about 5 minutes of the film. Too bad, because it is not the case that the humor works great. The characters are very blandly designed and the content repeatedly concentrates on the less interesting aspects of the legend. The rather vague and washed-out quality of the film also prevents the event from creating a convincing atmosphere, which is why the authentic feeling and some successful stunts are the only approaches that earn the project bonus points.
