Shiqi Sui De Dan Che plot
The young Guo Liangui comes from the Chinese countryside to the capital Beijing to look for work. He finds a job as a bicycle courier and gets a brand new bicycle. He earns 10 yuan (about one euro) per delivered package and, moreover, the bicycle becomes his property after 60 rides. It all looks very enticing, but it is much more difficult than it looks. Beijing is a huge city, especially for a boy from the countryside. The street pattern is very complex and there are a lot of people with the same name. If Guo's bicycle is also stolen, it is a complete disaster. His employer demands that he find the bicycle; otherwise he will be fired. But Beijing has millions of bicycles.
