Combination of animation and real world, about the Easter bunny who doesn't feel like it anymore, just fun for the family. Just enough.

Reasonable and quite fun for the kids to watch at Easter.

It helps that I think James Marsden is a comedic actor. That helps quite a bit here, even if there is sometimes quite a bit of nonsense in between. Brand is a nice bunny and together they know how to keep things going. I liked the animation. Only the combination of animation and live action I never find that great. I can't even think of a movie in which I think that combination works well. There is still a nice supporting role by David Hasselhoff. The biggest problem of Hop, however, is the father-son morality, which at the end is taken through quite a bit. As a result, it is just not enough.

However, it is certainly entertaining and the idea of making an Easter film is not wrong in itself.

2.5*

Watched it without expectations and thought it was a good movie. A mix of animation and film that was successful. The animations were well done.

The story was also entertaining and for adults there were some jokes in it too.

I thought it was a cool movie and the playing time was good, not too long and not too short.
