Happening by default.

Little innovative American comedy as there are again a lot of them. However, there is sometimes a more than nice comedy in the series, but this one is unfortunately no exception and falls more in the frame where a lot of other comedies also fall.

Kunis and Timberlake are doing fine otherwise. There is never optimal chemistry, but otherwise they do it nicely. Unfortunately, they never prevent the film from being a bit boring at times. Sometimes the film itself doesn't seem to know where it wants to go.

The romance is not really present, who expects a very sweet romcom will be a bit disappointed. This is mainly a comedy with some subtle touches. There are some bland moments in the area of sex, but the film does keep itself happy in tone.

The movie never gets boring, but it's also nowhere very funny. Surprisingly also that Harrelson walks by. However, he is not fun enough and not prominently presented to be optimal fun unfortunately.

For the rest, it looks reasonable, but 109 minutes sometimes feels absolutely stretched. It is also a bit boring at times, and the film doesn't really have much to offer. Now the film is unpredictable enough at times, there are extra points. The rest of the film does not excel at anything.

A romcom that initially makes a small attempt to target the genre itself, but quickly lapses into a cliché romcom. It also starts confusingly with a short scene of Emma Stone who grew faster as an actress than the current main players. In itself there is nothing wrong with the film and the chemistry between Timberlake and Kunis is quite good. Some nice fringe characters, the necessary drama, in short everything you can expect from the genre. Not surprisingly, but you get what you can expect.

Put the most desirable man (Timberlake) and the most desirable woman (Kunis) of the moment in a romantic comedy and you have a hit. If it was that easy to score a hit, any romantic comedy would be as entertaining as this one. Who would have thought there would be such good chemistry between Timberlake and Kunis that they would turn out to be a perfect match? Dylan [Justin Timberlake] and Jamie [Mila Kunis] just got out of a long relationship and decide to choose sex without emotions. When Jamie (a recruiter) and Dylan (a client) meet, there is an instant click. After a few encounters, they decide to go together for a relationship like 'Friends With Benefits', but of course the blood will eventually creep where it can't go. Enjoyably ridicules the clichés of the romkom, but does not hesitate to embrace them in the inevitable finale. There are excellent supporting casts, especially for Patricia Clarkson as Jamie's brash mother and for Woody Harrelson as Dylan's boss, an early example of a gay character breaking with persistent stereotypes.
