Good film in which an elderly man from Kenya wants to enroll in a primary school. Through flashbacks you learn something about this man's past and especially the fight for independence. Simple in design, but the film manages to touch here and there and the interaction between the old man and the children is also nice to see.

Beautiful film that, in addition to the entertaining drama, also shows some touching daily life from Kenya, see it on the street, a cafe or the morning singing of the children at primary school. By casting local people, the film comes across much smoother and more honest, and because it is also based on true facts, it looks a bit easier. Of course all this is romanticized, but that aside. Smooth film, small 4 stars
