Treasure of Monte Cristo plot

Sailor Edmund Dantes, who is a descendant of the Count of Monte Cristo, arrives in San Francisco and is immediately molested. Then Dantes must fight against criminals who try to kidnap Jean Turner. Dantes finds out that these criminal activities have to do with the great treasure that belonged to his ancestor. This treasure is said to be somewhere in San Francisco now and a criminal gang thinks Dante knows where. Jean contrasts fantasy stories with Dantes and even manages to marry him, but then he is soon involved in a murder.
