A House in the Hills plot
"She's up for a role, He's out for revenge, They're in for each other."
To earn a living, Alex Weaver works as a waitress in an Italian restaurant, but she devotes every spare moment to her career as an aspiring actress. Now that she can audition soon, she wants to prepare for the important day in peace. Her co-worker Suzie offers Alex to look after the Rankin's house in her stead. Their home is quietly located in the middle of the hills. Alex agrees. Just before they leave, the Rankins inform Alex about the murder of a girl next door and forbid any visit. But she's barely an hour alone when bug killer Mickey rings the bell. He claims to inspect the house. But Mickey is far from targeting the termites.
