Gui Meng Jiao plot
Centuries ago, a man in rural Hong Kong was executed for adultery. He was drowned in the ocean. His mistress died by sinking into quicksand while fleeing. Years later, people who swim in the ocean disappear and their bodies wash ashore. Lu Hsien, the local police officer, thinks the ghosts of those convicted at the time may have something to do with it. Together with colleague Wang Hsiao-Ming, he fights these demons.
