Péchés de Jeunesse plot
Monsieur Lacalade is the prototype of a boundless egotist. He lived on the loose and had many relationships. He didn't care if his girlfriends got pregnant. Now he is old and tired of his days. He feels very lonely. He decides to investigate his descendants, but comes home from a cold fair. Edmond Vacheron thinks his father died at the beginning of World War I and the successful composer Lucien Noblet has eyes only for his stepfather to whom he owes a lot. Miss Florence makes it clear to him that her son Frédéric is not his. Lacalade ends up in an orphanage, where he repents, finds a prodigal son and even his great love.
