I notice that the "Tarzan" movies with O'Sullivan have a few more posts. Brenda Joyce (who succeeded O'sullivan as Jane) is usually not the case. While she might even be a better Jane. Shame. How it is that the films with O'Sullivan get more attention is a mystery to me.

This adventure was again entertaining and funny. Especially Cheetah who turns everything upside down again.
They are still fun and quite unique films. The circus tricks of the elephants are very good in this movie. The search for Boy (which strangely enough is not in the plot description). It's also quite exciting. I myself was not really bored with this film.

So far I'm sticking with a 3.5.

Revisited this today. Probably the funniest Tarzan movie, and one of mine

favourites. The high level of fun is of course obvious when the

civilized world in New York is visited. The monkey Cheetah may be more rabid now

playing pranks than ever, and weirdly and comically seeing Tarzan in a neat suit at the end

walking around and getting acquainted with the many modernities where he is occasionally funny

responds to. For example, he responds to a female singing voice via the car radio with: Woman

sick. Cry for a witch doctor. The smooth climbing in trees and the flying on the lianas

has been gratefully replaced, among other things, with clambering work of buildings. The movie has

possibly a slight reference to King Kong. A kidnapping, because one smells money at one

profitable attraction for the public. I found it particularly pleasantly lively

Tarzan movie. Also comical at the beginning of the film are the tricks that Boy de Jonge

elephants did. But also a bit shocking: Raised in the jungle and yet

a kind of imposed humility even though the animals apparently enjoyed it. The

The scene in which Boy competes against a lion is also a good one.
