Well. In hindsight I should have known better, especially after quickly scanning the SVD topic. My first Lucifer Valentine, and probably my last. It's mainly 70 minutes of gore, with quite a bit of gore (although it's rather low-budget and not that convincing), filth and especially a lot of vomit. It's not very functional, and when naked strippers do that it's already annoying, but when a fat guy also starts vomiting extensively I'm completely done with it. As for the rest of the film, it's a fairly plotless film about a stripper who (possessed by the devil or a demon or something) starts brutally and filthily dissecting all kinds of people in between stripping and vomiting. Lots of jerky images, and noise-like soundscapes (think Wolf Eyes and such) and distorted voices to show the demonic aspect. I could even appreciate that last aspect at times (still a point), but SVD seems to be mainly an excuse to show as much and as extreme vomit, blood, gore and female nudity as possible - preferably in combination. That Lucifer Valentine will just watch it for now.

My first Valentine First of all I thought the way of filming and the sound was still smooth, gave an almost industrial-ambient effect and feeling. The females were also very nice. For some this will be like incoherent pieces of image and walk away from the sound, I thought this was the strength of this film, sick ambient art, where the camera shots and image quality are really sharp. And eye-poking and sawing off his head is always nice and then eating from his head and vomiting on the conveyor belt For me this was a nice hellish, but very entertaining trip. I recently saw the sickest film for myself, then these of Valentine are actually a nice snack, this did not give me an upturned stomach, I like that people make this. The other 2 films of his will follow, I have them here.

Surprisingly enough, not entirely irrelevant, despite the fact that director Lucifer Valentine still struggles with a film that comes across as particularly boring after a while. The busier design combined with the unusual sound editing, however, deliver exactly what the film is supposed to do and that is to proclaim an evil and harsh tone over the film. The hallucinatory scene in which eyes are gouged out is actually a particularly successful scene. The acting, on the other hand, is annoying, the explicit sex unnecessary and the abundance of vomiting people mainly disgusting. In that respect, Slaughtered Vomit Dolls has very little to say, other than presenting itself as rancidly as possible and that becomes unimaginably boring after a while.
