A notorious drug lord is acquitted after the key witness in the trial against him "accidentally" disappears. Shortly after his release, however, he is kidnapped by a group of former elite members of the police force who have decided to take the law into their own hands from now on. Cheung, a middle-aged police officer, is assigned to the case. He was once the rising star of the police force, until his wife was murdered in a mafia attack.
