"Jack skates a little faster... Shoots a little harder... And is driving everyone bananas."
When the professor who trains and cares for him suddenly dies, Jack, a chimpanzee with the IQ of a genius, is in danger of being sold to a research lab. He escapes and due to a misunderstanding Jack ends up in a village in the cold northern part of Canada. There he befriends the deaf girl Tara and her brother Steven. Steven takes him on his ice hockey team and Jack soon turns out to be the star of the field.
