Very bland, infantile comedy. Was expecting more, especially for its presence

from Jack Black. Nicely made, yes, but was it all too simple for me, with a few

embarrassing scenes (A pissing Jack Black, to put out a fire)

Very weak film and nowhere near the magic of the original. The story was laughable, the effects were ridiculously bad (obvious green key in such a production is just unacceptable), funny moments are barely there except for some (certainly not all) fun customs from the contemporary world like the song that jason segel says for Blunt, some spoof posters of contemporary movies, but if those are the funniest things in this movie you already know enough

Gulliver's Travels is a mockery of the once beautiful original story and the magic that brought that film to life.
