The blunt lowlife criminal Kang-jae is married to the Chinese Failan without ever having seen her. Failan has come to Korea with no money or connections to earn money (which requires a work permit and thus a marriage) to travel to her aunt in Canada. Both Failan and Kang-jae are in serious trouble. Kang-jae threatens to go to jail for a long time and Failan turns out to be seriously ill. The only gripe in Failan's miserable life is the fact that she still has a husband running around somewhere, so Failan sets out to find...
