La Chienne plot

Maurice Legrand is married to Adèle, a terrible person. He meets Lucienne, 'Lulu', and she becomes his mistress. Maurice turns out to be hopelessly in love with her, but she is actually not interested in him. It is a hooker who is in love with her pimp Dede herself. She only hangs out with Maurice to earn money for Dede.
