Sufficiently entertaining.

A horror film that starts off as a run-of-the-mill thriller but quickly degenerates into a 'Twilight Zone'-esque piece of work. And that happens not in a bad way. The main theme leans heavily on the film 'Frequency' but features a slightly more direct and predictable build-up here. This does not always benefit the scares. Nevertheless, 'The Caller' is entertaining. The hour and a half flies by quickly, like an extra-long episode of the aforementioned TV series: not worked out in detail, yet sufficiently entertaining.

Good.

A rather weak thriller that shows similarities to The Butterfly Effect, but isn't really effective. The film is long-winded, lacks suspense, and the acting is mediocre.

I think it is a very good film, with a good build-up of tension.

And what is suddenly the problem for everyone now—that rotary dial telephone—I just don't understand that.

Are rotary dial telephones not allowed to exist? I actually think they create a wonderful atmosphere of the past... A bit of a nostalgic feeling.... I believe those tellys are even being made again these days.

But a phone like that shouldn't detract from the story at all. And I think that's just really good.

There is nothing wrong with this little film, and I would like to have it in my collection.

I think it's a lot like Frequency... Another great one.... I'm crazy about those "timeline" movies... Are there more movies like this? I do remember The Butterfly Effect.... But are there any more of this kind??? I love this.
