Ang Lihim ni Antonio plot

The adolescent Antonio and his mother have a strong bond; ever since his father went abroad for work and for another love, mother and son have been dependent on each other. Antonio also misses his father, but has his own problems: for a while he has been aware of his own homosexuality. He wants to admit this but on the other hand also suppress this feeling, afraid of being rejected. During a sleepover with his friend Nathan, Antonio, under the influence of the pleasant evening, makes advances to his sleeping boyfriend. To his surprise, he is not even rejected. The next day, however, Nathan doesn't want to hear about it anymore and starts avoiding him. Their other best friend Mike is curious about the incident and when Antonio tells him everything he reacts encouragingly and lets Antonio know that he accepts him as he is. Tragedy begins to unfold when his mother's hedonistic brother comes to stay for a few weeks. This is an attractive man and finally Antonio can compete with a man in the house again, but gradually he becomes obsessed with his uncle, with dramatic results.
