The story revolves around Chance (Presley), a young man who has just been released from prison and wants to live a normal life without crime. The moment he is released, several people immediately try to get him back into his old lifestyle. Even his father Liam (Harris) who himself has a long criminal record and is serving a long prison sentence. Complicated issue in all of this is August, Chance's 5-year-old son, whom he knew nothing about until his release from prison.
