Mediocre crime drama. The story and the film start very promisingly. It then seems to be quite a mystery. But after half an hour the fun wears off a bit and the film degenerates into a slow, uninteresting drama. Unfortunately not the mystery you were hoping for from the start. Towards the end they want to add some tension, but that fails and the film collapses like a pudding. The acting of the main characters is fine, but a number of supporting roles are severely substandard. Not recommended. 2.0/2.5

The wealthy real estate dealer Demi Lampros [Harvey Keitel] has asked his loyal driver Donald [Gabriel Byrne] to cover up the traces of his "indiscretions" after his death. One of those tracks is a house where Demi had an affair with Amber [Sibylla Deen], a British woman of Pakistani descent who was able to support her family thanks to her contact with Demi. Amber begs Donald not to drop her immediately and, partly because Donald is struggling with guilt over the death of his own daughter, he becomes entangled in a family feud in which Amber's sinister cousin Khalid [Jan Uddin] plays a key role. Well acted, but the plot is far-fetched and due to Misra's uneven direction there is no dramatic build-up and only some nice moments remain.
