A group of young boys are stranded on a desert island. This forces them to mature faster, even if they are unable to do so. Two factions soon arise; Ralph is 'leader' of the first group, and they want to build huts and gather food. Jack's group prefers to hunt wild boar. The rivalry between Jack and Ralph intensifies, they both want to be in charge, and Jack's group becomes brutal and violent, while Ralph's group tries to stay civilized. Growing animosity between the groups leads to a bloody and terrifying climax...
