Dante's Inferno plot
"It will burn itself in your memory forever!"
Jim Carter is a man who struggles to keep a job until he befriends Pop McWade who runs an amusement park attraction called Dante's Inferno. This is a kind of museum in which, through images and objects, the spectators can become acquainted with the story of Dante's poem Inferno, about a journey through hell. However, the attraction doesn't go well and Carter comes up with the idea of making the approach less moralistic, but more sensational. This proves to be a success and Carter quickly becomes a leader in various forms of entertainment. However, he begins to lose more and more of his morals and drives his wife and McWade further and further away.
