Outlaw El Tigre and his gang repeatedly cross the Texas border to rob and kill. In Border City, Texas Ranger Joe Walter is asked to end El Tigre's activities. On his way to Mexico, Joe meets the young man J. Dennis "Denny" O'Moore of New York City, who is on his way to San Clemente to find his missing brother Patrick. Danny and Joe travel on together. Joe learns that Danny's brother is part of the El Tigre gang and that he is not at all happy with their arrival.
