Orizuru Osen plot
The beautiful Osen is forced to use her beauty for a gang of con men led by the shrewd Kumazawa. She tries to escape from that life, but each time the gang manages to find her. One day she runs into the young Sokichi Hata, just as he is about to commit suicide. She convinces him not to, after which he follows her to the hideout of the gang. The gang takes the boy in like a house slave and treats him like a dog. Out of love for Osen, he perseveres in his task, but under the hard and bad life in the gang, it is only a matter of time before both are destroyed. Out of love for each other and fear of the criminals, however, they dare not attempt to escape.
