The Chameleon plot
"How do you know what you see is really the truth?"
When teenaged Nicholas Barclay (Grondin) suddenly reappears after being missing for three years, his sister welcomes him with open arms and watery eyes. His mother (Barkin) takes his hand without even looking at him. But no one questions whether he is who he claims to be, except for a no-nonsense FBI agent, Nancy (Janssen). She soon realizes that the puzzle pieces don't fit and finds out the truth: Nicholas Barclay is an impostor. But why are the Barclays so obstinately refusing to allow the FBI to run tests that can confirm his identity? Who is this impostor?
