"An age of magic and mystery... A land where no man has entered."
When the evil Bayetan warriors, led by the sorcerer Kalungo, attack the Amazon city of Imbissi, the inhabitants of Amazon are forced to flee. The only chance for the Amazons to resist Kalungo's violence is to obtain the sword of Azundati. This is a power symbol of the Amazon empire through the ages. Two Amazon warriors, Dyala and Tashi, are sent out to find the sword. During their journey, they encounter Kalungo's magical powers, strange tribes and their own contradictions. But once the sword is in her hands, Dyala can lead the Amazons through the battle with sword raised.

Amazons is a standard sword & sorcery movie from Roger Corman. But instead of a good story and some nice actors, the focus here is more on the breasts of the actresses.
Nice, but certainly no more than that!

Well.
You shouldn't have too high expectations in this genre, but this film still disappoints. The story is about nothing, the locations are largely too obviously cheap fake, and the actors never give the impression that they believe in it or that they enjoy it. And perhaps the most annoying thing, the soundtrack. Not because of the music - which is pretty annoying and bad in itself - but because of all the fake screaming and groaning.
One of the worst movies I've seen in recent years.
