The Judge plot
"Strangest Story in the Annals of Modern Crime! They killed in different ways!"
Prominent lawyer Martin Strong comes into conflict with his conscience when he is forced to defend a crazed murderer, from whom he was acquitted for nearly the same offense a year earlier. Strong cannot count on the moral support of his renegade wife Lucille who is in love with Dr. James Anderson, the head of the psychiatric department at the provincial police. Strong finds himself in a crisis because he feels he has failed in his career. He plans to take revenge on his wife who is unfaithful to him: he wants to make a new will, leaving his assets to the families harmed by the actually guilty criminals, for which he has been acquitted. However, Strong's plan changes when he accidentally witnesses a crime committed by the unknown William Jackson. He wants to defend Jackson and hopes that his wife Lucille and her lover Anderson can be charged for the murder with legal tricks.
