Gli Sbandati plot
Northern Italy, 1943, near Milan. A countess and her son, a grandson and a friend of the family take shelter in a villa. The three men try to pass the time and only the grandson understands the gravity of the situation. Soon the fleeing Lucia and a group of soldiers also end up there. The son receives them and he soon falls in love with Lucia. But the friend of the family is not happy and informs the Germans about the soldiers in the villa.
