Guitar shop De Plug is more than just a place to buy a new guitar. This is where the music scene gathers to play their favorite songs, exchange the latest news and gossip and share joys and sorrows. Under the paternal leadership of owner Peter, who is a fantastic listener and who can serve coffee, a confidential, family atmosphere is created among his clientele. We meet pop heroes such as David Hollestelle, Dany Lademacher, Brian Hickey and Ad Visser, who tell us that the exciting life of musicians also has its downside. Their Rock 'n Roll existence has taken its toll in failed marriages, struggles to see their children, health problems and loneliness.
