A sort of variation on Last Cannibal World and also a bit of Mountain of the Cannibal God.
The atrocities are actually directed more at the animals than at humans. When you see the beginning, you indeed get the feeling that it’s nothing special. But it did get a lot better later on. The story is plagiarism and has nothing original about it. Nevertheless, the film did entertain me due to its relatively short running time. Also, the incredibly peculiar musical pieces are, of course, not original to this film but to Kraftwerk. Especially the rather cheerful jazzy percussion piece while someone is being attacked by a crocodile; it sounds very pleasant.
3.5.
