Nice film about a farming family that gets into debt due to flooding on their land. Entertaining throughout, it looks good and the cast does a fine job. It could certainly have been handled more subtly here and there and the main character is sometimes a bit unbelievable (too stubborn).

He may have been too young and inexperienced for such a role, but on the other hand, he has never been a high-level actor. Unfortunately, he makes the film feel distant.
