Kiss of Death plot
Jimmy Kilmartin is doing his very best to stay on the straight and narrow. Married, house, baby. He succeeds, until his cousin Ronnie begs him to help him with a job. Jimmy is framed by his criminal friends and sent to jail. He decides to use his knowledge of the underworld to get revenge and makes a deal with the prosecutor. Jimmy ends up in the circle of friends of Little Junior, a tough bastard, who does not shy away from any form of violence.

Reasonable film about a man who tries to stay on the right path, but eventually makes a mistake again. An entertaining crime film with a nice story, which is not equally credible everywhere. Secretly a cast with quite a few well-known names, where Nicolas Cage certainly stands out positively with a nice fat badguy.

Kiss of Death is a crime film with a plot that doesn't excel at anything. It is one of thousands. Nicolas Cage can be proud of his role. Of all the pulps he's been in, this is one of his better roles. Great viewing, nothing more than that.
